 This Map shows spots located in the Discovery Coast in the state of Bahia and few others, more south, pertaining to the Whale Coast. The main locations on this map are Porto Seguro, Trancoso, Arraial d’Ájuda, Caravelas, Caraivas, Cumuruxatiba and Belmonte.
The map includes the main touristic spots from Trancoso and Porto Seguro however if you want more detailled visibility on these specific villages go to their dedicated maps (Trancoso or Porto Seguro maps.)
The Discovery Coast is the second touristic destination of Bahia and has the largest hotel network in Bahia.

The region considering its own history (first Brazilian land, officially discovered by europeans in 1500) has invested in the preservation of historical and architectural testimonies, from the pre-Colombian and  Colombian periods.
The Discovery Coast has a rich ecosystem and beautiful landscapes such as beaches, cliffs, mangroves, rivers and Atlantic forests.
The Discovery Coast has three national parks
- The Coast of Discovery Park,
- the Monte Pascoal Park and
- Pau Brasil Park
as well as environmental protection areas and indian reserves.
